Job Summary

The Sales & Customer Service Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all sales development initiatives aimed at increasing sales volumes and strengthening the customer portfolios and commercial territories under his/her responsibility. He/She is also accountable for ensuring an outstanding customer experience by maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and overseeing the timely, efficient, and quality delivery of products and services in accordance with the Company's standards and customer expectations.

L’Agent de Ventes et Service à la Clientèle a pour mission de développer et de consolider le portefeuille commercial dont il/elle a la responsabilité, à travers la planification et l’exécution de stratégies de vente efficaces visant à stimuler la croissance des volumes et du chiffre d’affaires. Il/elle assure par ailleurs un service client de haute qualité en veillant à la satisfaction des clients, au traitement diligent de leurs besoins et à la conformité de la livraison des produits et services aux exigences de qualité de l’entreprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute a sales plan based on the approved sales strategy, in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager
• Process customer orders and follow up to ensure prompt delivery of products, in accordance with the organization’s policies.
• Proactively gather current customer data and information and regularly update the customer database to ensure its reliability and accuracy.
• Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to identify constraints affecting product sales.
• Proactively identify and report on potential revenue streams or new sales opportunities.
• Initiate and manage relationships with internal and external customers in the local market.
• Achieve assigned sales volume and revenue targets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers.
• Monitor customer orders from order placement through delivery.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales volumes within the assigned territory.
• Monitor customer complaints and coordinate timely resolution with relevant departments.
• Monitor competitors, market trends and customer needs.
• Support customer retention and portfolio development.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Transport, Dispatch, Finance and other relevant departments to ensure timely order fulfilment and resolution of customer issues.
• Prepare and compile periodic activity, financial, and performance reports.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Regional Sales Manager.

Profile Required

Education & Experience

• Minimum Bac+3 or its equivalent in a related discipline.
• Postgraduate/relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales, customer service, commercial administration.
